Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ifso (the “Service”), a product operated by Mahdi Software Engineering LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“ifso,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Not financial, investment, or tax advice
Important: ifso is a self-directed planning and projection tool for informational and educational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice, and we are not a financial advisor, broker, or fiduciary.
Projections are estimates based on the inputs and assumptions you provide. They are hypothetical, are not guarantees of future results, and may differ materially from actual outcomes. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. Consult a qualified professional before making any financial, investment, or tax decision.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Your account
Using the Service requires an account. You sign in with Google, and your plans are saved to your account and synced across your devices. You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for all activity that occurs under it, and you agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without our permission.
- Upload malicious code or interfere with other users’ use of the Service.
Your content
The scenarios and data you enter remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely to operate and provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.
Subscriptions and billing
Some features may require a paid subscription. Paid plans are billed through our payment provider (Stripe) on a recurring basis until canceled. You can cancel at any time; your paid features remain active through the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.
Service availability and changes
The Service is provided on an ongoing basis but may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time. We may add, modify, or remove features, including moving features between free and paid tiers.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that projections or calculations will be accurate or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ifso and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or financial losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $100.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ifso and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
